Liner notes of the CD sleeve read:The Pacific Northwest is a land apart from all other places on earth. From the Oregon coast, north through Washington state and British Columbia, on to southeast Alaska, it is a mysterious land in its wilderness, where giant pillows of fog glide silently through the ancient fir forests. It is a land of islands and fjords, of lakes and rivers and waterfalls, of centuries-old ice-covered glaciers and ancient sentinels; the great mountain ranges : the Cascades, the Olympics and the Canadian Rockies.
Here too, are North America's only rain forests, where every single thing that does not move is covered in iridescent green mosses, while water from the grey skies never ceases to fall.
This is the land of bald eagle and wolf, the bear and elk, mountain goat and bighorn sheep... while the sea is home to the great salmon, sea otter, orca and humpback whale.
I have attempted to capture the true feeling of wilderness with sound alone, to elicit the wonderful visual images of this awesome and majestic land. I invite you to join me on this journey tu nature's grandeur.
